You can set a baseline for each profile, and enable/disable steps in the rotation (again, unique to each profile) to quickly jump between min/max or move gradually through the options. You can make them basically any color you want, and the control software allows you to assign blinking and rotating patterns to the display. This translates to easy and efficient page scrolls. I actually found myself speed-scrolling a few times with the Kone - something I couldn't easily do with my MX510 - and was surprised to see the drivers automatically accelerate the input. Even the wheel has positive tactile feedback, but it's subtle enough not to be annoying (as is the case with the MX500) and makes no sound. The buttons are firm and responsive - you don't accidentally click the Kone. If you wrap your pinky around the other side like me, you'll appreciate the Kone's comfortable size. The thumb indent is perfect and really allows for a ton of control. Likewise, if you prefer more of a fingertip approach, you've got it easy. If you're a "palmer", there's plenty of mouse here, and you'll have convenient access to all of its features. In combination with its shape, the Kone allows you to hold it however you want and still be extremely effective. Not a Boomslang supersized order of ginormity, just a bit chubby. The second thing you'll notice is how big it is.

There are a few obvious and a few less than obvious design changes to improve aesthetics and overall functionality for gamers. The basic shape is reminiscent of the Logitech MX500-series. Let me start off by saying you want this mouse.
